1. Acceptance of these Terms
By using this website or submitting any order, inquiry, quotation approval, service booking, return request,
registration form, customer message, or checkout form, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our
Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy,
and Return & Refund Policy.
2. Seller information
This website is operated for Popular Electronics. Our UAE customer service and complaint contact point is available through
the Contact Us page. Our branch details may include Dubai, Deira, Naif, Clock Tower,
and Sharjah store contacts as published on that page. Store information may be updated from time to time.
3. Products, descriptions, availability, and pricing
- We aim to show product names, specifications, images, prices, stock indicators, delivery/service information, and quotation line comments clearly and accurately.
- Electronic components and products can change by manufacturer revision. Please verify part number, model, voltage, compatibility, datasheet/specification, region version, and intended use before ordering or approving a quotation.
- Prices, availability, lead times, shipping fees, COD fees, VAT treatment, service charges, and payment charges may change before an order is confirmed or before a quotation is approved.
- If a listing has an obvious error, incorrect stock state, incorrect technical description, incorrect image, or pricing mistake, we may correct it, contact you for approval, cancel the affected item, or issue a refund for amounts already collected.
- All trademarks, brand names, datasheets, product images, model names, and manufacturer part numbers belong to their respective owners.
4. Orders, carts, inquiries, quotations, PI, and approvals
- A website cart, inquiry submission, quotation draft, or stock request is not a confirmed sale until accepted by us and, where required, payment or customer approval is completed.
- For quotation workflows, please review the quotation number, products, quantities, unit prices, taxes, discounts, currency, delivery/lead time, shipping address, payment terms, validity, subject, and customer-visible comments before approval.
- For pro forma invoice (PI) workflows, you are responsible for checking PI company name, address, phone, shipping contact, invoice reference, approved line items, and quantities before arranging payment.
- If an order requires customer quantity approval, we may wait for approval through the customer portal, email, phone, or another agreed channel before finalizing approved totals or dispatch.
- We may reject or cancel any order, quotation, inquiry, service booking, or account activity if it appears fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, incorrectly priced, technically unsuitable, unavailable, duplicated, or not reasonably deliverable.
5. Payments, VAT, payment links, and invoices
- Payment options may include online payment, pay-by-link, bank transfer, cash on delivery, advance payment, or other terms shown at checkout/quotation/PI.
- Additional fees must be shown or communicated where applicable. Delivery, remote-area, COD, bank, payment gateway, import/export, packing, or insurance charges may apply if announced or agreed before confirmation.
- Where applicable, a detailed invoice, order confirmation, PI, quotation PDF, payment receipt, delivery note, or electronic record may be provided by email, portal, printout, or customer service.
- VAT, if applicable, is handled according to the invoice/quotation/order record and UAE tax requirements.
- Do not send card details, one-time passwords, bank passwords, or sensitive payment credentials through chat, email, quotation comments, or service notes.
6. Delivery, pickup, logistics, and risk
Delivery times are estimates unless expressly confirmed in writing. We may ship through our own staff or third-party couriers.
Delivery fees, tracking numbers, courier names, shipping conditions, collection requirements, delays, remote-area limits, and failed-delivery charges
are described at checkout, in order updates, in quotations, or in our Shipping Policy.
7. Return, exchange, refund, cancellation, and non-returnable items
Return eligibility depends on the product, condition, reason for return, time since delivery, manufacturer packaging, accessories,
warranty card/manuals, serial number/IMEI, and whether the item was used beyond reasonable inspection. Defective, damaged, incomplete,
incorrect, or not-as-described items should be reported promptly with photos and order details.
See the current Return & Refund Policy for the operational process.
8. Warranty, repairs, service bookings, and service tickets
- Manufacturer warranty applies only where stated by the manufacturer, supplier, invoice, warranty card, quotation, or product page.
- Keep invoices, serial numbers, accessories, packaging, warranty cards, repair receipts, collection receipts, and service ticket numbers for future support.
- For repair/service work, we may record customer details, device type, brand/model, serial/IMEI, issue description, accessories received, photos, technician notes, estimates, parts/labor lines, taxes, advances, payments, and delivery status.
- Service estimates are based on inspection and may change if additional faults, liquid damage, board-level faults, unavailable parts, counterfeit/modified items, data/password locks, or customer-requested changes are discovered.
- You are responsible for backing up data and removing personal/sensitive data from devices before handover where reasonably possible. We are not responsible for data loss unless mandatory law says otherwise.
9. Customer accounts and security
Keep your login details, email account, phone, OTPs, reset links, order approval links, quotation approvals, and payment links secure.
You are responsible for the accuracy of name, company, TRN, delivery address, billing address, email, phone, shipping contact, and service device details submitted through the website.
Contact us immediately if you believe your account, order, payment link, or quotation approval was misused.
10. Privacy, personal data, communications, and cookies
We process personal data so we can operate the website, protect accounts, respond to inquiries, prepare quotations/PI/invoices,
process orders, arrange logistics, manage service tickets, handle returns, comply with tax/legal obligations, and improve customer support.
We use essential cookies for security, CSRF protection, sessions, login, cart, checkout, quotation/service forms, and cookie preferences.
Optional analytics/advertising cookies are not intentionally loaded in the standard storefront layout unless enabled later with consent.
Read more in our Privacy Policy.
11. Marketing and customer communications
We may contact you about orders, quotations, PI, payments, approvals, shipping, returns, warranties, service tickets, complaints, security notices,
or customer support. Marketing messages should only be sent where allowed by applicable rules or with an appropriate opt-out/choice.
12. Website use and prohibited activity
- Do not use the website for unlawful activity, fraud, reselling through deceptive methods, impersonation, spam, malware, scraping, credential attacks, payment abuse, return abuse, or attempts to bypass security/RBAC/customer access controls.
- Do not submit false order data, false warranty/service claims, harmful files, misleading reviews, unauthorized personal data, or messages that are abusive, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or infringe third-party rights.
- We may suspend website features, remove content, block accounts, cancel suspicious transactions, preserve logs, and cooperate with authorities where legally required or reasonably needed to protect customers, staff, systems, and the public.
13. Third-party services and links
The website may link to manufacturer websites, datasheets, courier tracking pages, maps, payment gateways, email/SMS/WhatsApp/call channels,
CDN assets, embedded media, or social platforms. Third-party sites and services have their own terms, privacy, cookie, warranty, payment,
delivery, and availability rules.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UAE law, Popular Electronics is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive,
business-interruption, data-loss, compatibility, installation, misuse, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability
that cannot legally be excluded, or your mandatory consumer rights under applicable UAE law.
15. Changes to website, policies, and terms
We may update the website, product/service information, policies, delivery options, payment methods, account flows, quotation flows,
service forms, cookie banner, privacy wording, and these Terms and Conditions. The latest version posted on this page applies from its stated update date.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates. Courts or competent consumer, economic, regulatory,
dispute-resolution, or enforcement authorities in the UAE may handle disputes or complaints as provided by applicable law.
For lower-value consumer digital contracts, we will not rely on a forced arbitration clause where applicable UAE ecommerce rules do not allow it.
